Pha, 18 years old, the oldest in the family, said: "My Mother died about 4 year ago after delivering my baby Brother, She died because there was a lack of doctors. We, brother and sister, could no go to school because our father didn't In my home landallow us,

my Father was always drunk and beat us. i can't read and write because i never go to school, i only work in the field." Phally, 10 years old, said: "Before, hated my father so much because he didn't care for us, he never even bought us clothes. Before my mother died, she told me not to care or think of my father because he was crazy with his alcoholism and gambling addiction. My neighbor's children were able to go to school but we could not. i did not know what to do, sometime we are did not have enough food to eat, sometimes we ate very little, my grandfather was always away searching for food, while my older sister went to the fields to find wild vegetables and sell them to support the family.
Par's FamilyMy grandma couldn't do anything because she could not see very well. She has always sick. i wanted to study and to have clothes that worn out and some shoes; we only had warm clothing given to us by some kind people.
Theara and Phorn said: " Every day we had to help to take care of about 100 ducks for my grandparents, and while taking care of the ducks, i also looked for frogs fish for us to eat."
They are very happy to stay in Phnom Penh Children's Home. They also have one more brother, named Sroun Phalla who is now staying at our Kompong Chhnang Children's Home.
